Mr. Hannigan,

I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. I had asked one of our interns to help with this, but just discovered that your request was overlooked for the last month.

I am not able to get a copy of any of the newspapers you asked for, but I did copy and paste the Richard Read obituary that appeared online at www.seacoastonline.com from Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005.

I have attached the text as a Word document.

I hope this helps.

I am researching my father’s family members and his great aunt, Grace Jolicoeur Read Berry has provided a list of her children to him when we visited in 2006. Grace passed away a couple of years ago and listed her children again in her obituary.

We are trying to tie up the Jolicoeur branch. Grace’s mother and my father’s grandmother were sister.

Anyway, I have found a listing for the obituary of Richard Read (age 54) who passed away on 11 Dec 2005. Richard’s obituary appeared in the Portsmouth Herald on 17 December 2005; along with the York County Coast Star and the Hampton Union on the same date and the York Weekly on 18 December 2005.

Is it possible to get a copy of the obituary from one (or all) of the newspapers either sent via email or US Mail to me? According to the Obituary Collection, they list a number of other persons and several other locations of reference to the family.

Thank you for your consideration.
